Do I need to watch an ad to play?
A puzzle starts as soon as you select a mode. Puzzles covered by an owned pass have no entry ads. Unowned eligible puzzles, including Today’s Challenge, show an interstitial before the 1st, 3rd, 5th and other odd-numbered starts. If the ad is unavailable, the puzzle still starts.
What is the reward for Today’s Challenge?
The first clear of that day’s selected prefecture earns 2 hint tickets. Easy and Hard share the same once-per-day reward. Tickets above the maximum balance of 10 are not added.
Can I resume an unfinished puzzle?
Yes. The app saves one unfinished puzzle on your device. Select Continue on the home screen to resume it. Starting another puzzle replaces the previous save.
How can I view the solution?
From the in-puzzle hint screen, spend 5 hint tickets to open a floating completed map. Expand it and tap a municipality piece to see a local highlight and its source. After viewing the solution, holding a piece during play shows its correct location and local information. A clear still counts, but it cannot update your personal best or submit to Game Center.
How is the All Japan Pass different from the Complete Set?
The All Japan Pass covers the national puzzle with prefecture pieces only. The Complete Set includes that puzzle and municipality puzzles in all eight regions, including split mainland/main-island and island packs for Tokyo and Okinawa.
Are passes subscriptions?
No. Passes are one-time purchases removing entry ads for covered puzzles. Hint-ticket ads are separate.
Can I upgrade individual passes to the Complete Set?
Owned passes contribute fixed upgrade credits: 300 for All Japan, 200 for Hokkaido, 400 each for Tohoku, Chubu and Chugoku, 500 each for Kanto and Kansai, 300 for Shikoku, and 600 for Kyushu & Okinawa. For example, Hokkaido and Tohoku total 600 credits, qualifying for the remaining-900 upgrade product. The actual charge is the price retrieved from the App Store. If another individual purchase would bring your total to 1,500 or more, the app offers the Complete Set instead. Existing active individual purchases totaling at least 1,500 credits unlock all regions without another purchase.
My upgrade product is unavailable.
Try Reload Products. If the matching upgrade product is unregistered or unavailable, purchasing is disabled. The app never switches automatically to the full-price Complete Set.
Why am I seeing ads after buying a pass?
Use the same Apple Account and choose Settings → Restore Purchases. A pass does not remove ads for puzzles outside its coverage or ads chosen to earn hint tickets.
An ad will not load.
Check your connection and try Reload Ad. Ads may be unavailable due to supply, region, consent status or service conditions. Failed or skipped ads do not grant ad rewards. The daily launch bonus is separate.
How do I receive the daily launch bonus?
Open the app to automatically receive two hint tickets once per day. A new day starts at midnight in Japan; returning from the background on a new day also counts. The limit is ten: you receive one ticket at nine, or none at ten. The bonus is then marked as claimed for that day. Excess tickets and missed days do not carry over.
Why can I not earn tickets when I have nine?
Each ad grants two tickets, so two free spaces are required. Use a hint first when your balance is nine or ten. The maximum is ten.
Can I transfer progress or tickets to another device?
These are stored on your device. Backup restoration may help depending on your settings, but the app does not provide its own cloud sync. Purchased passes can be restored separately.
How do I unlock all learning notes?
Complete the same puzzle three times in Easy mode and twice in Hard mode. Both requirements must be met. Some learning prose remains in Japanese even with the English interface.
How can I request a refund?
Use Apple Report a Problem. Eligibility and processing are subject to Apple conditions. This website does not process payments or refunds.
