Privacy Policy
1. About this policy
This policy describes information handling in Japan Jigsaw Puzzle (Japanese title: 全国ジグソーパズル) and this support website. The operator and contact details are listed below.
2. Information stored on your device
The app stores clear counts, best times and ranks, daily challenge completion dates, hint-ticket balance and the last processed launch-bonus and challenge-reward dates, language and volume settings on your device. To provide Continue, it also saves one unfinished puzzle, including its puzzle and mode, piece placement, elapsed time, and whether the solution was viewed. These records support gameplay, progress and prevention of duplicate rewards. The current app does not send them to a server operated by us.
Records may be included in device or iCloud backups under your Apple settings. Transfer of progress or tickets to another device is not guaranteed.
3. Advertising: Google AdMob
The app uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK and User Messaging Platform. Google describes processing IP addresses, device or app identifiers, ad views and interactions, app interaction data, crash logs and performance data. IP addresses may be used to estimate approximate location. Purposes include ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and service improvement.
Actual processing depends on SDK version, configuration, region and consent. Consent forms are displayed where required; ad privacy options are available in Settings when applicable.
Only when you grant iOS App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission and applicable regional consent requirements are met may advertising partners link information such as your advertising identifier (IDFA) with information from other companies’ apps and websites to show personalized ads and measure advertising performance. The app does not access IDFA without ATT permission. Other processing for ad delivery and fraud prevention may still occur.
Declining tracking does not change the requirements for playing puzzles or using hints. The same ad-viewing and purchase requirements apply, and granting tracking permission alone never earns play access or hint tickets. Declining does not remove ads or all data processing needed for ad delivery and fraud prevention. You can change permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
4. In-app purchases: Apple
Purchases and restoration use Apple StoreKit. The app checks verified entitlements to skip entry ads for the puzzles covered by your passes. The app has no feature for us to collect your card number or bank details. Apple manages purchase history and refunds under its terms and privacy policy.
5. Game Center
If you enable Game Center in the app and are signed into Game Center, the app uses your player display name and submits eligible completion times or collection scores to Apple leaderboards. Visibility is governed by Apple services and your settings. There is no separate account registration with us. Puzzles can be played without Game Center.
6. Sharing and support
Sharing a result uses the destination you choose in the iOS share sheet. Shared images and text include puzzle names, ranks and completion times.
If you email support, we use your email address and message to respond. Messages are retained for as long as necessary for support and removed when no longer needed. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or other confidential information.
7. This website: Cloudflare
This website is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps and browser information to deliver and protect the site. We have not included analytics tags, ad tags, contact forms or sign-in features in this website. We will review this policy if these are added.
8. External services and safeguards
Processing by Apple, Google and Cloudflare is also governed by their privacy policies, linked below. Information may be processed outside your country. We apply safeguards appropriate to the information handled. There is no feature for us to sell user data.
9. Retention, deletion and choices
Progress is stored during ordinary app use. Deleting the app through iOS removes local app data, but backups and restoration depend on Apple settings. Offloading an app may retain its data. Deleting the app does not itself delete Apple purchase history or Game Center information.
You can manage ad choices through applicable consent forms, in-app ad privacy options and iOS settings. For information held by Apple or Google, use their privacy controls or support channels. Contact our support address to request access to or deletion of support messages sent to us.
10. Age range, availability and policy updates
The app is intended for a general audience and is not listed in Apple's Kids category. App Store availability varies by country or region. We do not omit consent or data-protection measures required by a user's location, device settings or applicable law merely because of the selected storefront availability. Minors should ask a parent or guardian before making a purchase.
We update this policy when functionality, providers or requirements change. The revision date is shown on this page; significant changes will be communicated appropriately.
